Candidates with successful B2B sales experience in printing, advertising, media, ad specialties, software, or similar B2B applications would be considered for this opportunity. Marketing Consultant

Bloomington-based consulting company is looking for an experienced marketing/communications/PR professional to join the firm. Many of our clients are asking for help with marketing planning, advertising, public relations, customer communications and other areas that we need to service. The position also includes work for our own company—direct mail, e-mail campaigns, Web site work, etc.  You would also be welcome and encouraged to use your own connections to source and develop your own clients and to cross-sell for the other consultants (HR, recruiting, process and manufacturing improvement) in the organization. This is a consulting position; the hours and pay will be very flexible and varied according to the needs of the clients, our firm, and your schedule. CFO/Controller

 

Great position in the agriculture industry in Central Illinois! Requirements include three to five years experience in finance, accounting and supervision, and a four-year college/technical degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent (MBA or M.S. not required but a plus, with an emphasis in administration). Familiar with AS 400 (experience with System 2000 a plus).

 

The CFO supervises five administrative staff and one accountant. He or she is expected to accurately project profit/loss forecast when seed industry operates in unpredictable environment, and administer a budget between $1M and $1.2M. Some sales background helpful. Pay range is $75K- $100K.

 

Factory Finance Manager

 

Great opportunity in Illinois. This position has a direct impact on facility financial performance in terms of variable and fixed cost budgeting and variance analysis, indirect responsible for factory product cost development and accuracy.

 

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with major or minor in accounting or finance, or bachelor’s degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting, and a minimum of six to seven years experience in accounting or finance. CPA, CMA, CFM, CCE, MBA preferred. Two years experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to describe the manufacturing process, previous food industry experience, and previous management/supervisory experience are desirable.

 

Must be willing to travel 10%, and be willing to relocate within six to 24 months of initial assignment. Pay range is $70K-$90K.                       

 

 

Accounting Supervisor

 

This position is responsible for supporting the Inventory Control, Variance Analysis, Cost Reduction Program, and General Accounting areas. Annual budgeting responsibilities including case cost development, periodic forecasting, and maintenance of standard material cost through the MLC process.

 

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance and three to four years experience in a manufacturing environment, with significant exposure to variance analyses and reporting preferred, but not mandatory.  Advanced PC experience including Excel, Word, and Access are necessary, as is the ability to work effectively utilizing automated systems and practices. SAP knowledge preferred.

 

 

Compensation Manager

 

We currently have an immediate opening for a compensation manager located at a corporate office located in the Peoria, Illinois area.  Reporting directly to the vice president of human resources, this position will oversee the development of a best practices compensation philosophy designed to attract, retain, and engage talent in a fast growing company.

 

Qualifications include  5 – 8 years of core compensation experience, bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance/Accounting or related business field. Extensive experience in compensation design and administration (base pay and variable pay), pay-for-performance and performance management, market surveys and analysis

Job measurement and evaluation, applicable federal and state employment law, including FLSA.  Strong communication and facilitation skills for all levels and functions in the organization.
