New Website for PGPi Outplacement and Career Transition Business

PGPi launched www.outplacementcompany.net in December 2009. The new website will help more people get the outplacement and career transition help they need.

According to Rick Galbreath, president of PGPi and Practice Leader of our Outplacement and Career Transition practices, "America needs an outplacement provider today that is truly focused on helping people in transition." "Unfortunately, too many outplacement providers today are little more than resume mills staffed by people who don't have a lot of practical experience in the industry or, more importantly, a true understanding and empathy for the people they work with." "PGPi cares for every person in transition."

The new website will help more good companies find PGPi on the web.

Galbreath Quoted in Inc. Magazine Article

The just-released August 2008 issue of Inc. magazine features a pull-out guidebook featuring several pieces of advice from Performance Growth Partners Inc. founder and president Rick Galbreath, SPHR.

A human resources consultant and expert on employee handbooks, Galbreath was approached by the authors to lend his expertise to the subject.

"The employee handbook is the foundation of any business' relationship with its employees," says Galbreath, "and so many businesses, especially small businesses, don't recognize how important it is in establishing a good rapport with employees, and how much protection it can offer the business."

Galbreath encourages employers to professionally review their handbooks annually, and plan to extensively rewrite them every five years. According to Galbreath, "Employment law and regulations change so frequently you can't protect yourself fully if you don't take a close look at least once a year."

Contact him at rick@performtogrow.com to discuss your current handbook and how it can be revised to work for you even better.
